Delete your account
How to delete your Kaeme account and everything in it, what is removed, and what we are required to keep. Kaeme is operated by Dalysie AS.

The short version
You can delete your Kaeme account, and every child's timeline, photo, video, voice note and memory stored with it, at any time from the app or the web. Your account is closed and signed out immediately, and your data is permanently erased within 30 days. A small set of records the law requires us to keep, such as payment receipts, is kept for the required period and then removed.
Before you delete
Deleting cannot be undone. If you want to keep your children's memories, download a copy first: in the app, open a child and choose Download, which prepares a copy of every photo, video and voice note with their words.
How to delete your account
- In the Kaeme app: open More, tap Delete account, and confirm with your password.
- On the web: sign in and go to kaeme.getdailydone.com/account/delete, or open Account and choose Delete account. Confirm with your password.
- By email: write to support@getdailydone.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may confirm your identity before we proceed.
If you signed in with Google and have never set a password, set one first, then delete, or email us.
One account, shared with DailyDone
Kaeme is part of DailyDone and uses the same account. Deleting your Kaeme account closes your DailyDone account too, including anything you keep in other DailyDone apps such as DailyDone Drive.
What is deleted
We permanently erase your personal data: your profile (name, email and sign-in details), every child you added, and all of their moments, including photos, videos, drawings, voice notes, the words you saved, growth records and yearbooks. Memories that family members added to your children's timelines are deleted with them.
What we keep, and for how long
We keep only a minimal set of records we are legally required to keep, each with a lawful basis: payment and invoice records for accounting and tax purposes, and a basic security and audit trail to prevent abuse and meet our legal obligations. These are kept only for the period the law requires and are then removed. No photos, videos, voice notes or memories are kept.
Timing
Your account is deactivated and signed out everywhere as soon as you request deletion, so it can no longer be used. The permanent erasure of your data is completed within 30 days.
